How is Kent changing?

For most of us, the area where we live has changed considerably during our lifetimes, either because of road and house building or even because of tree planting or natural erosion.

The next 30 years will see unprecedented levels of new house building in the county - some 120,000 homes have already been earmarked, mainly around the Kent Thameside and Ashford areas.

Do you have old photographs or film of our county's towns and countryside? Let us know and you could help create a unique collection of images of our county as it changes and evolves.

If you would like to feature your town or village in 'Changing Places' please send in your old and new photos to: kent@bbc.co.uk
