Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease - COPD - is an umbrella term for a group of lung diseases that include chronic bronchitis, emphysema and small airways disease.
The British Lung Foundation's flagship campaign 'Breathe Easy week' will take place this year between Monday 15 June and Sunday 21 June.

CANOE IN CANADA
The nephew of a pilot who died in the Kent Air Ambulance crash 11 years ago is taking part in the world's longest canoe race to raise money for the charity.
Peter Budden who's uncle Graham was killed in the tragedy will be paddling 460 miles from Whitehorse to Dawson City in Northern Canada.
