I can never remember. Raised in Sidcup - live in Maidstone. I joined Radio Kent as a sports reporter in 1989. My job interview at Radio Kent is still among the worst ever done for the BBC!
My first presenting job was a Saturday morning show which had music and chat and it was here that I developed the current affairs phone-in which is now a major part of Breakfast with John and Jules. Since January 2009 Julia George has joined me on the Breakfast Show. Jules is a great co-presenter to work with and the show has really developed with her ideas and input. John Warnett
