He studied part time at Hadlow College whilst gaining practical experience out in the field learning a mixed palette of skills starting in growing nurseries before moving into maintenance and care of gardens then onto designing and building gardens where his natural flair and ability for gardening really excels. Always having the desire Trevor now runs his own Garden Practice designing and building gardens through out the south east of England, many of Trevor's gardens have won national awards and accolades leading to the success of the practice. This he fits in around his commitments to radio media career by having a team of talented individuals employed around him. Trevor enjoys the interaction with people and avid gardeners and enjoys sharing knowledge and watching people's enthusiasm grow when they get the bug for gardening or learn how to get rid of the bugs they don't want (excuse the pun). He is a family man with a young son Oliver who takes up his spare time along with his wife and two Labradors named Posh & Beck's. "They don't do the garden any favours but we do love them", Trevor says. (We assume he's talking about the dogs. Ed.) Why not give Trevor a call during Sunday Gardening programme every week on BBC Radio Kent on 08459 811111. |
