Paul James

Paul James

Paul has been in show business for more than 30 years, starting as a musician with some of the top groups of the 60s.

But, it was the late, great comedian Jimmy Wheeler who persuaded him to become a comic.

Throughout his career his engagements have covered almost every aspect of ‘the business’ from entertaining Arabs in the desert to a comedy routine for a group of executives riding on the famous Bluebell Railway.

Paul has starred in over 20 pantomimes and has appeared in summer shows countrywide from Blackpool to Bognor Regis. The highlight of Paul’s career came when he appeared for a second time at the London Palladium.

Fondly known to the listeners as PJ the DJ he presents The Sunday Supplement with Paul Harris.

He is still today as enthusiastic about his profession as he was when he first started out in show business, all those years ago.
