A view of beach - half way down the promenade between Eastern Docks and Prince of Wales Pier.  Take a look around the Market Square where the Museum of Dover is located behind the fountain.  Western Heights overlooks Eastern Docks and was where the WWII anti-aircraft guns were situated.  Dover is best known as the busiest sea port in Europe. Spin round on the Prince of Wales pier.  Take a spin around from the end of Prince of Wales Pier and look across the English Channel.  Stand in the middle of Dover Athletic's ground and take in the view. You don't even need a ticket.
