His recent work includes a tribute to Michael Jackson.  Mod Rock: The Who and Imagine/John Lennon South African born, Guy Portelli, studied at Medway College of Art, and before he set up his studio in Tonbridge, he was a sculptor in the BBC Special Effects department.  Michael Jackson by Guy Portelli He has exhibited his abstract sculptures in Manchester, Guernsey and London, and also appeared on the BBC's Dragon's Den programme. He has had works commissioned for various sculpture parks across the country. BBC South East's Sara Smith reported on Guy's venture into the Dragon's Den: His Pop Icon works include representations of Frank Sinatra, Grace Jones, John Lennon and Amy Winehouse.
