Gill, out and about in Rochester.
Living with Ataxia
Gill Solly suffers from Cerebella Ataxia, a very rare neurological disorder which has affected her since birth.
Determined, from a very young age, that her condition was not going to stop her living life to the full, Gill now runs the Ataxia UK Kent Support Group in Rochester to help those living with similar conditions in the south east.
She met her husband at the age of 16, and now has three grown up sons, in spite of her doctor's advice not to have children. With the help of her family, and a wicked sense of humour, Gill leads a very active life.
If you think that Gill's group could be of help, please email us and we'll pass your messages on to her.
