They may be in fine voice, but can they dance?
Over in the training room, the boys have been rehearsing their group staging and vocals for their opening number 'Any Dream Will Do', plus the show's exit song - will it prove to be just as memorable as 'So Long, Farewell' was during How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? - time will tell.
This was the first time they had practised these together, but for some the moves came easier than for others...
It became evident during the session that Seamus was struggling. "If I mess up then I mess up for everyone," he said.
Daniel was also finding the day hard - he kept getting the giggles! He put it down to first day nerves and that he was really enjoying it. Meanwhile Chris B was distracted for a different reason. "There's too many mirrors in here!" he said.
But overall dance instructor Kevan was impressed with the boys, with Lewis, both Chris', Dan and Ben proving head boys. "It's my first session with the guys and they're better than I thought they'd be," he said.
And despite Seamus' struggling with the moves, Kevan felt his ability to act the song would see him through. "Seamus struggles but what he doesn't have in movement ability he makes up for in emotion."

I was part of the chorus for an all-female performance of Joseph when I was 13, and I can still remember all the words (yep, even the colours of the coat) 16 years later. If Lord Lloyd-Webber needs someone to help the lads learn the words when Jason Donovan is busy, I can probably spare him some time ;)
