Blast Intro's - Work Experience

This is an exciting new work experience scheme tailored for applicants aged 14-17yrs offering 4 placements within the Blast team. Two will be working with our Online team and two with our touring Radio station 'Blast Out Loud'.

News Reporters

If you're interested in current affairs and would like to develop your reporting skills apply to our Reporters scheme.  Each year we recruit young people to work across local radio to report on the latest stories from the UK regions. News Reporters will record their own pieces for BBC local radio stations.

Music Reporters

If you're interested in the music and would like to develop your reporting skills apply to our Reporters scheme. Each year we recruit young people to work across local radio to report on unsigned bands, music festivals right across the UK. Music Reporters will cover all types of musical taste from Hip-Hop through Bangra to Indie and Rock in their reports.
