About you
You’ll have a genuine interest in news and local issues. You regularly keep in touch with what’s happening in your community. You’ll watch Look North, listen to local radio and use the local online website.
You'll need to be interested in people and their stories, and you’ll have an eye for a striking image or an ear for good audio – our TV & radio programmes and websites thrive on great pictures, strong stories and clear and concise writing.
You will bring a fresh voice to the newsroom. You’ll relish the challenge of helping us serve our diverse audience better. You will have a good understanding of the different communities living in the region, and be able to reflect issues that matter to them.
