So who are we looking for?
We want people from the region who can find and tell great local stories. We are more concerned with your talent, potential and passion to achieve great things with us than with your academic background.
You will be passionate about media and news. Maybe you've demonstrated this through writing in magazines, community or hospital radio, blogging, or work experience at a local newspaper?
You'll need to be able to write quickly but accurately.
The BBC needs people who reflect the diversity of the UK so it can create fantastic programmes and services for its many audiences. It has a team dedicated to supporting staff with visual, hearing, mobility and other disabilities to play a full part in making the BBC the most creative organisation in the world.
