Future Designers Wanted

BBC Design Trainee Scheme

We will be recruiting for the design trainee scheme in June 2012, and will be setting a new brief. Please check back here from May for the application criteria.

The BBC Design Trainee Scheme supports the development of new entrant design skills in costume, make-up, interactive design and the art department. BBC Design Trainees represent some of the best new design talent in broadcasting. Past Trainees have achieved successful careers with the BBC and wider industry.

Design is a key aspect of any production. Costume, Make-up and Production Designers enable audiences to visualise stories, while Interactive Designers help users engage with multiplatform content. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects with experienced professionals and learn new skills.

You are inspired by original programmes and have the confidence to work quickly under pressure.  You will be flexible and keen to take on new challenges, and must enjoy being a part of different teams.  You have talent, potential, passion, and the creativity, drive and dedication to succeed.
