Broadcast Technology Assistant Trainee Scheme 2007

Do you have a passion for "Fixing Technical things" and do you have 'A' Level Maths or equivalent learning or experience? The BBC Broadcast Technology Assistant Trainee Scheme might be the right thing for you!

Broadcast Technology Assistants (BTAs) work in technology support roles for production in the BBC's television, radio and online output across news and general programmes.

Our aim is to be world leaders in the field of technical support, setting the standard for broadcasting support and ensuring the service that we provide underpins and compliments its goal to be the best broadcaster in the world.

About the Scheme

We have a number of Trainee positions within various divisions within the BBC. This trainee scheme is a great opportunity for people with a passion to work in broadcast technology support to get into the BBC and make a valuable contribution to our output. There will be opportunities within the following divisions:

  • News
  • Audio & Music
  • English Regions
  • Northern Ireland
  • Resources
  • Wales

The scheme lasts for two and a half years and will start in September 2007.
