Travel by AirThere are a number of airlines flying to and from the island on a regular basis from across the UK and Europe. Jersey's airport is located in St Peter in the west of the island and served by the Number 15 bus route. The BBC is not responsible for the content of external websites Travel by busThe bus service in Jersey is operated for hte States of Jersey by Connex with a central hub at Liberation Station in St Helier. You can find out when the next bus is going to arrive at your stop by texting the number on the bus stop to 66556 and you will receive a reply with the next bus. Adult fares range from £1 for travel within Band A and £1.50 (before 19:00) for travel within Band B. Children's fares 3-11 are 50p everywhere and 12-15 are 50p before 19:00 and £1 after. The maximum speed limit in the island is 40mph with a limit of 15mph in some green lanes. Seat belts must be warn and it is an offence to hold a mobile phone while driving. There are taxi ranks in the island at the Airport and Harbour and in St Helier at Library Place, Snow Hill and the Weighbridge.
