GREEN ISLAND
Green Island
Green Island

Another one of Jersey's most popular beaches, this small stretch of beach can get crowded at peak times.

GREEN ISLAND
parking: There is a public car park right next to the beach, but this fills up very quickly, very early. After that, it's roadside parking.
refreshments: The small beach cafe has turned into a restaurant, and is so popular that if you haven't booked in advance, you'll be hard-pushed to get one. Otherwise there is a beach kiosk.
toilets: Yes
swimming: Very safe, but the sea recedes a long way at low tide. If you follow it out, make sure it doesn't beat you back.
sunshine: Catches the sun all day.
shelter: Very sheltered from all but onshore breezes.
sand: Soft, white sand, as well as plenty of rock pools for the adventurers!
beach sports: None
