A Poem…
by Loretta

A poem is what I write,
And not just to shed tears all the time.
My words may seem
To scream out suicide,
But it sheds blood with all its might.
It may seem to be all just shattered lies
And it confuses me overtime.
Affliction and deception,
I carry with every cry.
And look at me when I’m in sight,
Cause there won’t be just a light,
To cover your sweet good byes,
And those promises that lie.
Just by seeing that you’re that uptight,
And not saying a word when you’re depressed,
Seeming that you care less,
Seeing that you’re Passive
When you’re in distress.
Lurks, beyond disgrace.
But I won’t tell it to your face.
Cause it’s something that I’ll have to blame,
To my melody…in my head,
So if this poem doesn’t shed tears
Or the sweet sorrows in the sky.
Let my dream stand out
And not just like the dream I had last night.
Let it scream out and what I want in life
And my visions that I cry
The day I’ll die….
Let god see the suffering through my eyes,
And all the tears that I’ve cried,
This poem doesn’t say it all
But it can scream out words
That will hit you in your heart….
One thing I will say freely,
Is that your eyes nearly killed me…and …scarred.
If words all mattered to you,
You knew I was still talking to you
Lease my tempt poem
And disguise yourself by not returning.
This one poem that is not swaying.
So tis the sorrows that you have and
The glimpse of memories
We’d could have shared
This is nothing compared to what you dared…
