Comprehension

Do any comprehend
The pain that did descend
Whole families wiped out
With one mighty clout

The decades have passed
But still dark shaddows cast
Unimaginable pain
Voices left howling in vain

And for those that were left
Alone, forsaken and bereft
In the aftermath of War
Bodies scarred, psyche sore.
