Looking through the double glazed windows
A storm throws the world around
as if in a silent movie
Its presence felt by the rattle of a letterbox
In smoked filled room from light fire blow back
Reminders of you upt and left
A marked book read half way through
Just like us unfinished ending
With pressed hand upon the pane
A fervent wish for your returning
Waiting the storm out the bigger one inside of me.
