D-Day 60

BBC Radio Jersey and Spotlight Channel Islands have produced a number of special reports and stories from the eyes of the brave men that were there.

LAUNCH THE PLAYER

We have pulled together a collection of stories and reports including a six part series that gives you the opportunity to listen to the rich and vivid detail from Jersey residents who braved the frontline sixty years ago.

BBC Spotlight Channel Islands brings you the story of two Guernseymen who parachuted into battle on D-Day and follows them as they retrace their steps.

And finally we have a rare opportunity to look at the final days of the occupation of Jersey through the eyes of a German Soldier.

We will be following up stories and adding more to the player over the next few weeks so keep coming back. Now is the time to listen to the veterans of D-Day and WWII before it's lost in history.
