Overlook of the Garden

Jersey Tourism says several television companies have already expressed interest in making programmes about the lost garden at Rozel.

Experts are hoping that the garden, at Chateau La Chaire hotel, could become a big draw for tourists.

Rare and Tropical plants and bushes

The garden was designed by a prominent Victorian horticulturalist. It features rare and tropical plants and bushes, which experts claim could be very attractive for tourists.

Tourism chief excited

Jersey Tourism's chief executive, Elizabeth Jeffries, says she's very excited by plans to refurbish the garden; and that there's already international media interest.

It's hoped a feasibility study will be carried out soon - that will cost sixty thousand pounds.
