Have Your Say

I see that one of the comments about the pictures is that they have been photo shopped. I can assure everyone that looks at these pictures that i have not altered them in anyway. I was dismayed at the amount of water flowing into the development from the road. As members of the public we have a shared investment in these houses as we have just entered into a shared equity agreement with Dandara. I will be posting all the other pictures I have on my website roytravert.com for people to see the full extent of the flooding that happened with 10 minutes of rain on the 29.6.09. The drains are not fit for purpose and need some very serious attention. They could not cope with the amount of water coming down the hill into the development.

Build on a marsh, you get WET! Best left for the water fowl and not for a quick buck for gready developers.

I have not seen this reported in the JEP. Why?

just shows the kind of overpriced rubbish for sale in jersey .i feel sorry for those who payed the first asking price of £450,000 as the rest were on offer at 260,000. looks like you get the moat for free.

It was called "Goose Green Marsh". It is just below sea level on the highest Spring tides. Someone gave permission and someone covered parts of the "Marsh" with concrete buildings (some with basements BELOW ground / water level) and tarmac. HOW STUPID DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO NOT SEE THE RESULTS? Why does the island allow moronic things like this to be done? Democratic direction? It beats the hell out of me!!!!!

bruce
if you asked the developers and planning they would probably say it was the wrong kind of rain

voiceforchildren
Why not tip the contents of Bill Ogleys shredder on it that'll sort it out!On a serious note, this was predicted before they were built, but as usual our government knows best! Is there any wonder the island's in the state that it is?

Dan. Dara
Obviously all been photo-shopped.
