BBC CI problems

A fault has meant that BBC Channel Islands news hasn’t been on your television at 6.30.

BBC Channel Islands

BBC Channel Islands News

You may have noticed a lack of BBC Channel Islands television bulletins at 18.30 on BBC One over the last few days.

Unfortunately we have been unable to broadcast due to a fault somewhere in the circuit that takes the studio feed in Jersey to the UK for broadcast.

This fault is affecting terrestrial viewers (those watching BBC One through an aerial) as well as satellite viewers.

We haven’t been able to find out where the fault is yet so we can’t give you a time frame for when it will be back to normal.

However, we are hoping to be able to have a bulletin at 1830 and 22.25 that will be pre-recorded earlier in the day.
