What's your Jersey?
Send us a photo that best reflects the island from your perspective.
Is Mont Orgueil your image of Jersey?
Jersey means different things to different people and each of those people see the island in a different way.
To some the thing that stands out most is nature, the trees, flowers and greenery of the island and to others it is the traffic.
Does the Jersey Cow sum up the island for you?
One of the most iconic images of the island, used by television shows talking about the island and regularly in tourism related material is Gorey Castle.
In fact that was the first thing that came to mind when the subject was brought up in the office.
But is that what defines Jersey for you? Is it the image of an 800 year old castle built to defend the island and later act as a prison?
Or is it a picture of cars lining up, waiting to move into or out of town around Beaumont Hill? Is it a picture of a cow on a beach?
Some of the suggestions we've had from staff here at BBC Jersey include "Gorey castle", "a cow on a beach" and "a Portuguese worker digging up spuds with Gorey in the background."
Or is your picture that of traffic congestion?
We also had "Jersey Cow, Fort Regent, Elizabeth Castle, Gorey Castle" and "waves crashing against the sea wall with a rubbish bin overflowing in front of it."
Ideally we'd like you to send us a photo that we can then put into a gallery next week - but if you're not up for snapping away or don't have anything you've already taken - describe the scene in the form below.
We will publish the best of the photos sent to us in a gallery next week and will try to take a photo of the scenes you suggest below.
