ST LAWRENCE
CONSTABLE ELECTION

St Clement

There are two candidates for Constable of St Lawrence.

Deidre Mezbourian

Deputy Mezbourian said she's standing after a number of parishioners asked her to, and she believes her experience as both an honorary police officer and deputy will stand her in good stead for the role of Constable.

If she's successfully elected the deputy said she would ensure stability in all aspects of running the parish. She added St Lawrence is already well managed and she would continue that work but in her own style.

Tim Tindall

Tim Tindall said constable was a natural progression from his role as Chef de Police, and that he would make interaction between youth and elderly in St Lawrence one of his priorities, saying he wanted to enhance the relationship between the two age-groups.

He would also like St Lawerence Arsenal to be redeveloped into sheltered housing for elderly parishioners.

It's all good and well making statements like:"he would make interaction between youth and elderly in St Lawrence one of his priorities, saying he wanted to enhance the relationship between the two age-groups."But just how does he propose to do that? And at the end of the day, does he not believe there are more important issues concerning the lives of his Parishioners?
