Paxman interviews Syvret and Walker

Watch what happened when Senator Syvret and Walker were interviewed by Jeremy Paxman on BBC Newsnight.

Jersey and more specifically Haut de la Garenne has been all over the news all around the world over the last few days.

The island has been mentioned on TV channels ranging from BBC News 24 to the American FOX News.

Two people have been interviewed more than most by the worlds journalists - the islands Chief Minister, Senator Frank Walker and former Health Minister, Senator Stuart Syvret.

On Tuesday, 25 February the two were interviewed by Jeremy Paxman for BBC Newsnight on BBC TWO.

The feature starting with a package from Jersey explaining the story and the background and then moved to the studio where Jeremy Paxman was joined by Childline campaigner Esther Rantzen and through a video link from Jersey - the two Senators.
