You have voted Mont Orgueil as the islands favourite landmark in a BBC poll to find the Seven Wonders of Jersey.

After a week of intense voting, you have said that Mont Orgueil should be the islands top Wonder.

You also voted for Corbiere, Elizabeth Castle, La Hougue Bie, Durrell, St Catherines Breakwater and the Jersey War Tunnels in the poll to find the islands favourite landmarks.

The poll was inspired by one to discover the 7 Wonders of Britain.

We wanted to know what you think should make up the 7 Wonders of Jersey - so we invited you to send in your suggestions for the islands favourite landmarks.

We had dozens of suggestions so we created a 20 landmark shortlist for users to vote on.

You voted in your hundreds and cast thousands of votes to find the final seven Wonders of Jersey.

Durell, what a load of rubbish, anyway all the tourists I talk to,(lots in my job) go there, and come away again, such are the entrance charges.PS Now we are going to GIVE them money, total waste of time. Are we going to demand a share of the profits of the sadly named eco lodges....? Dream on Terry, the coffers are only one way in Jersey when it comes to things like this.

Durrell is perfectly appropriate... Gerald Durrell formed the zoo... I think using his name is a good idea... thankgoodness the Chambers aren't called Walker!

What is all this Durrell? I have been in Jersey a long time and I know of no place, parish, area, road - Durrell. I suppose we should re-name the States Chambers -"Walker". What a load of nonsense!
