Ed is one of our born and bred Jersey natives who is a Video Journalist for BBC Channel Islands.

Whilst studying away at university in Lincoln for three years, Ed had work experience on the BBC News at Six in London and worked for BBC Radio Lincolnshire before returning to the island to work at BBC Radio Jersey.

He then made the move to television in June 2008 when he became a full time Video Journalist and occasional presenter.

“Being from the Channel Islands I like to work on the stories that I know will affect me and other local people. I feel I am lucky to have strong knowledge about the islands as well as how they work.

"We shoot and edit our pieces which gives the reporter greater control over how the piece works. We are also able to get ‘closer’ to stories and provide amazing results.”
