The Jersey Live music festival has built itself a reputation for attracting some of the hottest bands of the moment.
The Editors are no exception and we caught up with their drummer Ed to talk about playing the festival and more.
In the interview Ed spoke to us about how the band are flying straight from Jersey to Istanbul for their last gig of the festival season and how they intend to give Jersey everything they’ve got as their last English speaking gig.
We also talked about playing Top of the Pops, what chair Ed would be if he were a chair and Toto.
The Editors are playing the Jersey Live music festival on Saturday 2 September alongside bands like Snow Patrol, The Zutons and Forward Russia.
You’ll also be able to catch Hope of the States, Milburn, The On Offs, The Paddingtons, Kudu, The Valentines, The Merge and deNova Blues.
All tickets are sold out for the Saturday show but a few are still available for the first day of the festival on Friday 1 September.
Friday will be a more chilled out, acoustic affair with The Levellers, Sandi Thom, Nick Harper and more supplying the sounds.
Two BBC DJs are taking on the job of introducing the bands and playing a set after the show. You'll be able to see Edith Bowman on Friday and Zane Lowe on the Saturday.
Tickets for the Friday night show are available from Jersey Telecoms, Minden Place, Jersey Tourism, Liberation Square & HMV, King St for £18.50 plus booking fee.
