The Midnight Expresso
Oi man, can you get some good bands like the midnight expresso man, kids would'nt believe their eyes man, know what i mean man, cheers man, bye man, man

Pele
It's fundamental that the festival attracts the attention of the UK to survive and evolve. I'm pretty sure the organisers will need to prove to whoever grants these licenses that the festival has a growing following in the UK and in order to do that, clearly an allocation needs to be set aside. Whether it's taken or not is something that needs to be addressed later but where is the sense in having a 'shutters closed' mentality whereby only local folk get to enjoy this event? It really is turning into a local festival for local people! Freaks. Surely you can all see the sense in allocating the UK a percentage of tickets so that, if taken, the powers that be will see that there's a future in this event and agree to increase the capacity which is what we all want - whether you've got a ticket this year or not. Increased capacity = more money = bigger and better bands = James Brown and Prince on the same bill. COME ON!!

bex
Squeak makes a very good point - I understand the wish to get tourists to the island, but not at the expense of the people who already live here. The UK has it's own festivals - and without being ungrateful they are bigger and better than JerseyLive. Can we please have an update on how many of the 2000 reserved tickets have been sold???

JLIVE is gonna roc!! off the island
Yeah! i finally got tickets!!! txs sis ur the best! can't wait!!!!!

Demi
we are doin a mag at my skool and i have put jersey live in i am goin to be takein pic can't wait.

scott rud
Yo, next year this would be my ideal line up... Oasis , Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Prodigy, Pendulum, Stanton Warriors, DJ Yoda and then for the grand finale.. id bring on the spice girls! wooooo

Pele
Well said Tonepone. And John H, the bands won't be much to shout about but the dance tent line up's a belter. Pele's looking forward to Ivan Smagghe, C2C and James Lavelle. The greatest footballer of all time likes a boogie now and then....

Tonepone
It really wasn't hard to get a ticket. They were online for 12 hours. TWELVE HOURS!!

John H
I am sure the day will be very 'pleasant' but please please next year a harder edge. Book The Answer now before they are huge!

Pele
I have a Jersey Live ticket. Being the greatest footballer of all time, there was no chance I was waiting in line for four hours like some mugs. I used the 'Internet' to get one. Take it from Pele - it was a lot easier.

Squeak
i'm so angry... why are we selling tickets in the UK? They don't sell tickets reserved for us over here for events so why should we reserve them any? if it wasnt for them selling out 2,000 or whatever tickts to the uk ONLY. i'd be going, but im not, because all the Jersey tickets are gone...

shirley
why dont you rock jersey with some old rock on roll

frank florida tampa

John Collet
I went last year and had one of the best summers ever. The rock n rollin Black Velvets were my favorite band. Will they be there this year? If you book them, they will come!

cate
heard a rumour that Tricia McTeague may be playing? www.triciamcteague.com does anyone know if this is true?

Chris Chin
I think that we need some metal in this mash up. Yes I understand that "indie" is the "in" thing and it is indeed an "indie" festival but compared to last year.. who is there to mosh to? Its all a bit depressing in my opion. I respect Snow Patrol but surely everybody wants a bit of a jump about?

the formby 3
Where are Velofax on the line up???? Waren get your act together and have some real Jersey grown tallent on the line up Beans forever!!!!

GaaGaa
iFORWARD RUSSIA! " YES ", this has made my year - roll on jersey live its gonna be a cracker of a day :)xxx

THANK YOU FOR TRYING TO DO SOME THINK GOOD FOR JERSEY YOU CANT PLZ EVERY ONE GOOD LUCK ON THE DAY

Lauren
YAY EDITORS!

RAZOR
No chance with Faithless mate, wake up! They are used to 60,000 people not 200. Lets hear the shouts for the dance arena!!! Carl Cox, Sebastian Ingrosso, Laurent Garnier, Steve Angello, Oaky. Come on sweetie people, lets hear it

Brian
How about Faitless to headline Dance Arena, they really get the crowd buzzing.

KEIRAN
Cant believe KUDU are gonna be headlinin the local jersey bands...how the hell can anyone say that they're the best band in the island....its a massive disrespect to all the other local bands...shocking!!!

JACK JOHNSON - PEACE OUT
no one is entitled to an opinion if they like jack johnson

Thomas
Get Dragonforce!

Tom
Lever Arch, who in their right minds tries to defend their opinion by callin sum1 a 'schmuck', get it sorted mate! JJ may be borin but everyones entitled to their own opinion so settle down a touch and enjoy the facxt tht this little insignificant island has a rock festival at all!

Lever Arch File
If you truly believe that Jack Johnson is the most original songwriter since Bob Dylan, then you have either read that somewhere and repeated it or are an idiot, either way you are a schmuck. You really need to broaden your listening spectrum. I have no doubt this years festival will be a complete success, people will be entertained and go home 3 sheets to the wind but whether good music will be played is a totally different question. If you try to please the ‘masses’ and go by album sales, then the people who actually care about music rather than those consume it as if it was confectionary, will feel left out. Such is the nature of the beast, I accept this, but it doesn’t mean that I can’t be disappointed with the line-up.

J Harris
the valentines will play, there the best band in jersey also really looking forward to milburn *****

Boo Boo
The gig shouldn't just be about, alternative, indi so could rock! some people would like to hear something a little more chilled, for a bit, like local band Jackson Moody band Again! Jack Johnson would be absolutely AWESOME! But the chances of that happening is very rare!So lets just start thinking bout that the summer is a time to have fun go mad!, and chill out! so some chilled music would be very nice please! oh yeah my views on Snow Pertrol SUCK! Get a wider variety on music!!!!!!!!!!!

GetFighted
I really hope the Valentines don't play. If I wanted constructed emo lady-boys egotistical fags, I would look around the secondary schools. Lets have some real music. Well done for Snow Patrol, continue the good music!

Katie
I like Snow Patrol but there should be better bands brought over here. There should be more festivals in the summer and to decide which bands come over it should be based on a public vote. Then that way everyone gets a bit of what they like ;)

Matt Daly
I think Omerta and Ungenerics should play at the festival...mostly Omerta. They are AWESOME! They should get metal bands to come over also :)

Splash
Lever Arch File ! who would you like to see then ? huh ? one of those bands which deserve to get shot ? Nirvana perhaps ? James Blunt i agree on as the winey little rat that he is cant write songs or for that matter sing them! Jack Johnson on the other hand is not like any other 'popular' artist! He, up until recently, did not go on big tours! and the only reason he has is because he is one o the most original song writes since Bob Dylan! Rant Over Splash p.s. good shout on Milburn absolutley quality live so you can keep stum aswell John.

Lemoney Snickets
Nice one Positiv. Fantastic to see more great U.K acts on the island. Come on everyone, stop complaining and realise that getting a band like SP on such a small rock is excellent. Big up the Positiv dudes I say!

Jim
Come on peeps, snow patrol hav sold more than the thrills n kasabian put together..agreed dont think much of milburn but lets see who else is announced first eh!

lee
interpol !foward russia! the mystery jets bloc party

John
Milburn? On Offs? Oh please! Has all the budget gone to Snow Patrol?!

Lever Arch File
Yeah Jack Johnson then Blunt. Apparently we have a gun problem in the island shame if a few stray bullets found their way into Blunt and Johnson

Sarah
Kaiser Chiefs and The Killers should cum ova

Danny
Snow Patrol are alright - bit bland though, and after Razorlight and Kasabian they're not an improvement - Jack Johnson rumoured though - that'd be good. Big up the Valentines - they'll be there!

Danny Dawson
I want to see iron maiden and make it 15+ event

Douglas
Snowpootrol more like.

Ed Knight
Bad choice

Jennie
No offence to people who like them, but I find them very depressing. Bad choice I say.

GOOD
ifoward russia mystery jets

Lever Arch File
Oh great. Why don't they get Embrace, Athlete and The Feeling and make it one of the most interesting festivals in Britain.
