As well as what is bound to be a sensational line up of top bands playing the main stage, for those of you that like to stay in doors there is probably one of the best dance line-ups ever to hit the island set to play the Dance Arena at the Jersey Live festival. As we have already reported Kasabian will be the headline band on the main stage with other top bands due to be confirmed soon. Taking the top spot in the Dance Tent are 2 Many Djs, they will be joined by The Glimmer Twins, Sammy Jo the Scissor Sisters Tour Dj and The Mixologists. 2 Many DJs are Belgian brothers Steven and David Dewaele, better known as the guitar band Soulwax. On the side they do a bit of DJing and have ended up with regular slot on Belgium's equivalent to Radio 1. Rather than just beat-mix one track into the next, they created a cut and paste musical collage. The Jersey Live festival takes place on Saturday 3 September at The Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity from 12pm - 11pm. |
