Marti Webb returns to the role which was created especially for her, performing her million-selling hit songs - Take That Look Off Your Face, Unexpected Song and Tell Me on a Sunday - as she charts the course of one woman's quest for love and success. Firmly established as one of Britain's most popular stars, Mati recieved huge critical acclaim for her unforgettable performance in the original production of Tell Me on a Sunday and is delighted and honoured to return to hermost successful role. Tell Me On A Sunday features direction by the Broadway and West End award-winning Matthew Warchus (Our House, Art, Follies) and additional material by the fantastic singer, actor, writer, comedienne, Jackie Clune. Andrew Lloyd Webber combines his talents with Don Black's "witty lyrics" (The Times) to create a score containing ‘Take That Look Off Your Face’, ‘Unexpected Song' and 'Tell Me On A Sunday', plus five brand new songs. Funny, poignant and moving, these "achingly gorgeous" (Daily Telegraph) tunes reveal the touching story of one woman looking for love. Tell Me On A Sunday opens at the Opera House next week. Performance times are Monday at 8.30pm, Tuesday to Thursday at 8pm, and Friday and Saturday at 5.30pm and 8.30pm.
