There will be many familiar attractions including the Red Arrows and the Helicopter display on Peoples Park but there are also some real highlights in this years display. If you think Xtreme Ironing is mad wait until you see the Air Race. This year won't be quite as extreme as a full-on air race as it's just a demonstration but it is hoped that in future a full race will be one of the highlights of the display. The demonstration will have several aircraft appearing to race around St Aubins Bay, using prominent landmarks as turning point.s

They'll be pretending to have a race in the air, but won't be allowed to overtake each other for safety reasons. Display organiser Mike Higgins has said he hopes to have proper air races in the island in future. As well as the air display you will have the Utterly Butterly wing walkers, the Hawk, Tornado and the Harrier, and if that wasn't enough there is also going to be a display by the Black Cats helicopter display team. All of that is just a very small part of what you will see at this years Jersey International Air Display.
