This
recipe serves six people
INGREDIENTS
8 oz haricot beans
2oz onion, chopped
3 pints beef stock
Salt and pepper
2 oz carrot, chopped
METHOD
Wash the beans thoroughly under running water and place in a heavy-based
pan.
Add the beef stock and then bring to the boil. Simmer for one hour,
skim and then add the other ingredients.
Re-boil and then simmer for a further 30 minutes.
Add seasoning and serve.
