Inisbofin

Inishbofin is a small island of 300 acres which lies in the stormy sea between Tory Island and Magheraroarty, 2.5 km from the Donegal coast. The island was abandoned for the winter months for the first time in the seventies, and people would move back to the island in the spring, a practice which still occurs.
