ZingZillas - Series 3 - 1. Thunder and Lightning

A band of primate friends play music in their tropical island paradise. The ZingZillas play a thunder and lightning song with timpani player Colin Currie.

The ZingZillas wake up and ask Todd for an idea for the day's song. Todd uses his ideas machine but it breaks down. Instead of an idea it starts to make rumbling and crashing sounds. Drum thinks it sounds like thunder and lightning. The ZingZillas think this is a brilliant idea for the song. The first coconut falls. In the glade, Panzee and Zak see Colin Currie, a percussionist, playing the timpani and the thunder sheet. These will be great instruments for the thunder and lightning song.

The second coconut falls. The ZingZillas gather together in the clubhouse to rehearse their new song. Just as the crashiest bashiest moment Drum breaks her cymbal. Now she can't make any crashy bashy noises in the Big Zing! Zak decides that they need a banana break.

The third coconut falls - time is running out. Zak brings in a tray of bananas which Drum accidently knocks over. The tray makes a crashy bashy noise on the floor and Drum realises that it's the perfect thing to replace her broken cymbal. The ZingZillas are ready to play!

Zak puts on his cape, Panzee puts on her feathery boa, Tang puts on his groovy hat and Drum puts on her wings. Now they are ready to play the Big Zing.

The ZingZillas play 'Thunder and Lightning'. At the end DJ Loose wishes everyone a good night and says goodbye from ZingZillas Island.
