Award winning actress Sally Hawkins presents this week's Month of Sundays, choosing the tracks that she loves and wants you to hear. Sally won a Golden Globe for her performance in Mike Leigh's Happy-Go-Lucky and played the lead role in the BAFTA nominated Made In Dagenham. This is a rare occasion to get a taste of what one of the best British actresses around likes to listen to.
RADA trained Sally Hawkins made her film debut in the Mike Leigh films All or Nothing and Vera Drake. She has worked with the who's who of the world of directing including Woody Allen in Cassandra's Dream, Matthew Vaughan with Layer Cake, starred in Lone Scherfig's An Education, as well as Richard Ayoade's Submarine and Mark Romanek's Never Let Me Go to name a few. Her latest role in the film adaptation of Jane Eyre will be released next month.
