London 2012 Party

With the Beijing 2008 Olympics drawing to a close, London looks forward to 2012 as the countdown to the world's greatest celebration of sporting achievement begins. Claudia Winkleman and Matt Baker host a spectacular, free live concert given outside Buckingham Palace, celebrating London becoming the host city for the 2012 Olympics. The show features unique one-off performances of classic sporting tracks. Acts include McFly, The Feeling, Will Young, Il Divo, Scouting For Girls, James Morrison and Katherine Jenkins. There will also be special performances from Heather Small, who is joined by performers from the Notting Hill Carnival, and the cast of We Will Rock You. A host of sporting greats and celebrity guests also join in the celebrations. (R)
