Get Squiggling: Series 2: Rapunzel

Squiglet is a monster who lives in a plain white world, which he populates using a magic crayon.

Squiglet uses a straight line to squiggle Rapunzel, a girl with very, very long hair! But plaiting it takes so long that she worries she's going to be late to see a very tall and handsome prince. He's coming to the town square to choose a dance partner. Squiglet helps by squiggling the tall tower in which Rapunzel lives, so that she can fetch her hairbrush.

When they arrive, he's very surprised to see that Rapunzel uses her hair to get inside, by climbing up it to the window at the top! That's why she needs to keep it so long. But even though it's good for climbing, it's not very good for walking - Rapunzel keeps on tripping over it! She's never going to get to meet the prince at this rate!

Squiglet suggests a trip to the hairdresser - maybe he'll be able to help. And indeed he does, by piling all Rapunzel's hair on top of her head. Rapunzel is thrilled, until she runs off to meet the prince and her hair's so heavy that it tips over and unravels! Squiglet has an idea. What about balloons tied to Rapunzel's plaits, to hold them up in the air? He squiggles some and it seems to be working, until the balloons rise so high that they start to pull Rapunzel off the ground!

Squiglet pulls her down again, but has to pop the balloons quickly! Now how's she going to keep her hair off the ground? A look at the Squiggle Pad gives them the answer - stilts! Squiglet soon squiggles some and after a little practice, Rapunzel gets the hang of them. She can walk and her plaits don't touch the ground!
