Children's animation. A pigeon called Cedric delays the traditional midsummer market until Pat comes up with a brilliant solution.

It's time for the traditional midsummer market, but it can't start until Alf's pigeon, Cedric, comes down from the church belfry. Traditionally the ringing of the church bell always starts the market. Everyone tries different ways to get Cedric down but nothing works until Pat has the bright idea of luring him down with music. The Reverend plays a variety of instruments, ending with a boogie woogie solo on the piano. Cedric is charmed down and the midsummer market can get underway.
