Steve Backshall and his team have travelled over 7,000 miles from the start of their pole-to-pole journey, to reach the Pantanal in Brazil. This watery wilderness is home to more monster jaws and claws than just about any other place on the planet. Steve's on the search for a cold-blooded killer and manages to capture their sneak attack in slow motion. Next, he lures in ferocious pack hunters, known as river wolves. Giant otters patrol these waterways in gangs and are a force to be reckoned with. And Steve has the encounter of a lifetime when he finally glimpses the animal that has always eluded him, the king of the jungle - the magnificent jaguar.
