Four noisy children from Sunderland enrol in the School of Silence and take part in silent training with Miss Gobstop's team of teachers.
Will the team be able to stay quiet while playing Sludgey Back in Mr Gross's class, or will Miss Bunsen have them giggling while taking part in her Human Laundry experiment? And, most importantly, will they be able to stay silent and pass their final exam to graduate?
