'Casualty' is watched by millions of viewers. From the start of the show there was no mistaking the similarity between the cities of Holby and Bristol. Twenty two years and more than 600 episodes later 'Casualty' is still going strong. But the TV studios where it is filmed are in serious need of an upgrade and the lease is about to expire. When the BBC said the TV production could move to Wales, it didn't go down well with Bristolians. And South West Screen has estimated that 'Casualty' brings over £25m per year to the Bristol economy.
