Sipson faces the bulldozers

Heathrow is London’s main link with the rest of the world, and the government has now decided on its expansion.

But what does this mean for the village of Sipson, located slap bang in the heart of the expansion zone?

Sadie Nine hears the stories of some of the people whose homes are under threat.

Some elderly ones have lived there since before the airport was constructed.

A hairdresser has her livelihood threatened, while the mother of child with Asperger’s Syndrome is anxious that he may lose access to his Special School.
