Set in the heart of the city of Coventry, and part of the new Phoenix development, is the brand new home for BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, which was formally opened in September 2005. The building also hosts a very busy Open Centre, where you can drop in and pick up some new skills, as well as seeing broadcasting presenters in action.
The new centre in Hull was opened in October 2004, though BBC Radio & TV Humberside were already broadcasting from here in June 2004. Over 100 BBC staff work here, alongside the hugely successful Open Centre.
More than 5,000 members of the public visited the new building in the first month of opening alone, and you can join one of the regular tours to take a look around.
Next to the Guildhall in the heart of Leicester is the new HQ for BBC Asian Network and BBC Radio Leicester. It's a dramatically new and improved centre, with more space for the 90 staff and more opportunities for visitors to come along and meet broadcast teams, use the Open Centre and internet café, and drop in to the BBC shop.
This is the newest of the BBC regional centres, in the heart of the city centre, and home to BBC Radio Merseyside. From autumn 2006, visitors can tour the studios on pre-booked tours, use the latest of our very popular Open Centres, and look over a range of BBC publications, DVDs and audio in the new BBC shop.
In 2003 the BBC moved into the stunning new Forum building, located in Norwich city centre, sharing this space with the Norwich Millennium Library and Norfolk learning centre, among others.
Both BBC Radio Norfolk and BBC Look East broadcast from this building, and there are ample opportunities to tour the centre, watch broadcasting in action and do some short learning courses.
