Digital Story

Big Smile! by Marian Snowden

Tell us about yourself:
Am fifty-something-years-old and have taught in primary schools for more than 30 years. I was born and brought up in Beverley where I still live. I now teach in Hull.

What’s your story about?
It shows some of the things I deal with during the course of an ordinary day at school.

Why did you choose to tell this particular story?
To show there are teachers who love the job. Yes, there are bureaucratic burdens at times, but at the end of the day the job is about working with children and their families. I wouldn't do anything else.
