Hull FC went to Wembley for the Challenge Cup final against St Helens but finished second to bottom of the league and were judged to be an 'A' grade Super League license side for the next three years. Gwilym Lloyd puts the year into perspective.


Hull City had the best season in the club's history. Promotion to the top-flight for the first time ever, and a good start to their Premier League adventure.


Scunthorpe United saw relegation from the Championship and the hope of a quick return has they hit a good run in League One. Matt Dean takes a look at the Iron's season.
