New term
We started the new term very well although with many challenges as the cost living goes up. The School now has 420 children in both High School and Primary all taking lunch at School. Presently we have over one hundred who take supper at school. With your support I am glad to be of help to many need children because I can communicate and help with their needs.

Managers Meetings
As the new term begins we have got so many things that we need to do that I can not do alone. I have been holding meetings with managers from our school planning for the term and reviewing the past activities. In doing so I'd like to help individuals of all paths of life in hope of making a small, but positive difference in their lives. I enjoy helping people and have always been interested in nurturing and caring for the needy, which lead me to choose a pastoral care.

The School Clubs and Activities
Last month we took some of our pupils to the National Museum of Kenya. I have also been encouraging students to join different clubs so that they can be prepared and even to be able to identify their gifts and talents.
The Scouts Club is very active and many children from all level have shown their interest and I am so grateful. Last month our school was officially registered by the Kenya Scouts and some students have been already been issued with their Scout card as members the Scout patron Mr Shioso officiated the event.
National Examination starts.
I want to take this opportunity to thank God for all our supporters who have stood with us from January this year up to now. Many schools were affected so much from the post violence election but our school through your prayers and financial support has managed to help students to achieve their goals in life. I have had several meetings with government officials from the ministry of education about the national examinations that we are anticipating to have from 18th this month to November 17th Monday.
So far we have 33 candidates who will be writing national examinations at our Centre. We have received both the confidential practical and the time table to be followed which we have given to every candidate so that they can prepare themselves to tangle the papers. I have booked the two policemen who will be guarding the school compound during the examination period for almost twenty four days.
We need a stand by car to pick the police, invigilators and the supervisor and then we need a generator incase of power failure we can connect immediately. Please pray for me and my team as we help our children to write the national examination.
I am very thankful for the extra assistance from Swanland community UK. It was unexpected and came at a time when it was very much needed.
On behalf of the poor children and their parents in Swanland School Nairobi Kenya, we are sending you warmest wishes and deep gratitude for your gesture.
Many blessings,
Pastor Hudson Kuyanda
