The four piece were put forward by Raw Talent Introducing for a recording session at the BBC's world famous Maida Vale studios in West London. They join eleven other bands from across the UK this weekend for the session hosted by Radio 1's Huw Stephens. Raw Talent Introducing Producer Katy Noone said : "We were asked to put forward a number of bands. A panel, including Huw Stephens then picked I Concur. It's a great opportunity for the band. I was at Maida Vale last week for the first time and it's dripping with history. The Beatles and The Stones played there and I think the band will love every minute of their session, working with top BBC engineers in this historic recording studio." ![]() BTI at Glastonbury 2007 BBC Introducing pulls together new music shows from across BBC local and regional radio together with Radio 1 to give a platform to unsigned, unheard and underexposed bands and artists. Since it's launch last year BBC Introducing has hosted a number of events including a stage at Glastonbury. Leeds band Breaking The Illusion were put forward for this inaugural BBC Introducing stage by Raw Talent. The Maida Vale session is the first of many events this year. I Concur are delighted that they've been chosen. Speaking for the band Simon Glacken said "This is really great news. The band are over the moon."
