Steve Redgrave's Late Show

Steve Redgrave: Late Show

Monday to Friday from 1030pm until 1am, Steve Redgrave is here to help ease you into your night-time slumbers.

Each weekday evening from 10.30 until 1am, I tuck you up in bed with a different sort of nightcap. The boss said: "I don't mind if people fall asleep listening to you." Nothing new there then. He added, "Bring some music and fun to the end of the day." "What are you suggesting?", says I. "Bit of amusing chat, music, you being yourself and getting people involved.", he said. He then disappeared into the distance mumbling something about, "That's got him out of the office during the day."

Therefore, it's me and you then. Involved, was the word that seemed to sink into my early morning addled brain and stick. This is where you come in, I'd like you to get involved as much as possible. You can have a hand in choosing the music in, 'Make mine a double'. Write, phone or text with the name of your favourite artist and we'll rustle up a couple of tunes from that artist and there are some other goodies waiting in the wings too.

'Every Picture Tells a Story' is a big feature of the programme. How does it work? Easy. Contact me by email and we'll arrange for you to come on the programme and talk about a picture that's relevant to your interests in life. They can be work related, personal or about an organisation you're involved with. The only thing is they must not be copyrighted to anyone else.

We're looking for those special memories. Photos of places where you worked and lived. Pictures of famous buildings that are no longer standing, royal visits, sporting events, your first car. It doesn’t have to be something from the dim and distant past. Far from it. Perhaps you went travelling after the children left home and had an adventure in the far east? Have you got a picture of yourself shaking hands with someone famous? Some great event that's just happened? Any and all are welcome. Don't be shy.

There are a few more bits and pieces I've got lined up too. Can you tell us about some bargains you've spotted for 'Bag-A-Bargain at Bedtime'.

The Late Show will make it as easy as possible for you to get in touch. Here are all the ways to contact the programme.
